Urban cool British MC Star Tinchy Stryder will be headlining the Kaya ‘Do Youth' day stage at the inaugural Kaya Festival, Vaynol Estate, Bangor, Gwynedd, on Saturday 2 June 2012.

Tinchy has been invited to perform a special PA performance of past hits and his new single Bright Lights, and the festival is offering you an inspirational morning of training and mentoring followed by Tinchy’s PA and Q&A session.

They want to engage with you in a positive way and create social inclusion through music. The day has been organised to celebrate young potential in North Wales and the North West of England through youth engagement, workshops and apprenticeship opportunities with national companies and local colleges, all within a festival setting.

Partnering with Kaya Festival on the Saturday ‘Do Youth’ day are the British DJ & MC Academy providing training and music industry information for young people, Community Music Wales offering mentoring and community music training across Wales, DIGS from Colwyn Bay who are a community project hosting events for under 18s providing placements and opportunities to further develop local emerging talent and the next generation of musicians.

Construction Skills Wales will focus on training opportunities for young people in the construction industry. Coleg Menai with the DWP and Careers Wales will be helping young people to understand the job market and source new training opportunities.

Parents or guardians accompanying under 19s (13-18 year-olds) will only be charged £15 entrance fee for the day. (All guardians and parents must be 21+ and show ID as proof of age when entering the festival site. Maximum of three under 19s per parent or guardian.)

Special dispensation will also be allowed for youth groups and large parties.

Look out for CLIC at the festival - if you see us, come and say "hello!"
