CLICawards: Stop Voting!
Just like the existence of the woolly mammoth, all great things have to come to end and so it is that the polls are now closed for the CLICawards 2011.
With one week to go until the ceremony in the National Museum Cardiff (6pm Saturday 19th November 2011 fact fans), voting has now ceased so we can count and tally all of your votes. It’ll take a bit of time as there are no fancy computers for us; we’re strictly abacus when it comes to adding. Hey if it was good enough for the Greeks, it’s good enough for CLIC and if the Greeks know anything it’s how to add up and keep track of num… oh.
Anyway while we’re messing around with our magnificent mathematical machines, why not get your hands working on a new hat? Why? Well that’s the dress code for the ceremony. Wear a hat. We expect you to wear clothes too, not just a hat, it is November after all.
Not sure if you’re invited to the CLICawards at 6pm Saturday 19th November 2011 (I know I said that it's the date above, but I keep getting asked when it is, so it’s 6pm on Saturday 19th November 2011 OK)? If you’re reading this then you’re in. But if you want a goody bag and a seat then either email me (sam@cliconline.co.uk) or let your local editor know that you’re coming. If you don't know who your local editor is then you can find out here. If your county's not listed there, drop me an email (sam@cliconline.org.uk). There’s even a Facebook event which you can RSVP on (i.e. say you’re coming at 6pm on Saturday 19th November 2011).
So there we go! I hope to see you all next Saturday at six o’clock sharp (that’s 6pm Saturday 19th November 2011). Any questions, pop them below… and if one of you asks when it is... oooh why I oughta!

Well I'm very much going to try and make it but I don't finish work until half 7 :( what will happen to my goodie bag if I miss it?! :\
Now I'm going to dig out a hat... Or 10 :)

2????? I have BEEPing hundreds to choose from!!!! good thing i settled on a nintendo theme so i can show my SNES hat i got in the offical nintendo world shop america off to everyone =) pity i lost my zelda belt tho =(
